The New Balance 550 has been surmounted by the 1906R and 2002R when it comes to demand, but despite consumer’s newfound love for Y2K running styles, the neo-vintage vibe will always have its ambassadors. If you’re still on the 550 train, you’ll be happy to hear that the Boston brand has several colorways on tap for Holiday 2024.

Honing in on vintage basketball aesthetics a la Aimé Leon Dore, this latest pair features “Navy” and “Relic Brown” accents atop a “Sea Salt” leather base. This color blocking (or similar) has been explored at length since the basketball-turned-lifestyle shoe crept back onto the scene, with New Balance already having explored pretty much every accent color combo imaginable.
