Throwback to a legendary atmos collab.

Nike Unleashes Another “Animal Pack” Concept On The Air Force 1

“Animal Pack” is a design concept first ushered into the fray back in 2006 by Japan’s boutique-turned-chain atmos. As they were the first to bring in a full safari exhibit of wild patterns on pony air paneling, it’s hard to not remember those collaborations with reverence as it has clearly left a lasting mark on future in-line drops. Take this upcoming Air Force 1 example, which leverages that exotic look in a brand new format.

Official images of the Air Force 1 Low depicts an “Animal Pack” style execution featuring a multitude of naturally occurring animal prints across the toe-box, Swoosh, and heel. You’ll see a white/black zebra-like striping on the rear and a spotted cat on the toe and the Swoosh for that luxury-meets-street appeal that will surely have people looking up those earlier atmos projects on the secondary market. It’s just one of those shoes that remind you of another shoe.

A release date for this Air Force 1 “Animal Pack” hasn’t been revealed, but with Nike’s official images surfacing, look out for a launch before the year’s end.
