Rebel and Minimus join the Queens native's growing portfolio.

Action Bronson’s New Balance Performance Collection Will Be Available On November 1st

The term “multi-faceted” may get thrown around like a kettle bell in an open air gym, but Action Bronson fits the bill. Amassing fanbases across several verticals , the Queens native has displayed his taste to a tee through his amusing lyrics that are boastful in comical ways. More often than not he’ll drop a bar about eating fresh prawns off the coast of Africa and segue to a an iconic sneaker he adored during his youth. There’s a catchiness to his absurd vision and a warmth to the relatability.

Another hobby that Action dove head first into was the art of training. He paused on appearing on covers of music and food magazines to being the centerfold for fitness publications, because the larger audience can sympathize with the need to get fit. This upcoming performance collection with New Balance, which features the FuelCell Rebel v4 and the M10 Minimus, is an ode to his newfound appreciation for fitness and activity.

While Action’s first batch of New Balance collabs focused on lifestyle, this next one under the Baklava sub-label has more significance. “I made these shoes because I actually perform. I need them. I need them to train. I need them to run. Yeah, they look amazing, but it’s all about the performance,” Action explains.

Both the Baklava x New Balance FuelCell Rebel v4 ($170) and M10 Minimus Trail ($150) will be available on Friday, November 1st exclusively on specializinginlife.com. A wider launch on New Balance will be announced soon.
