The Nike LeBron Witness 8 Borrows The Iconic “Bruce Lee” Colorway

Two legends collide on the takedown silo.

The Nike LeBron Witness 8 Borrows The Iconic “Bruce Lee” Colorway

LeBron James’ appreciation for Kobe Bryant is no secret. Their puppet commercial series at the end of the aughts remains one of the most nostalgic moments from their time as Beaverton’s two foremost signees. Making the connection official once again, the Swoosh is set to revisit the shared Bryant/James legacy with a new edition of the LeBron Witness 8.

Short of the Kobe 8 “Grinch,” the Kobe 5 “Bruce Lee” is arguably the most significant Protro release to date, making this a natural reference to cater to hoops fans at large. While the compositional differences make a one-to-one replication night impossible, James’ takedown model reflects the colorway faithfully, sporting the same blend of black, yellow, and fiery red. Perhaps the only thing missing is the claw mark towards the forefoot, but an oversized lion logo countering the heel more than makes up for it with equally proud, defiant branding.

Expect to see the Nike LeBron Witness 8 “Bruce Lee” on shelves as we close out 2024, retailing at $110.
