It may not get as much pub as the Air Force 1 or the Dunk, but Nike has shown unwavering commitment to the Nike Air Max 90. Consumers are treated to a slew of colorway options that ensure you can grab Tinker Hatfield’s in whatever pantone you prefer, but some looks prove more enduring than others. This “Safety Orange” Air Max 90 is a testament to that idea, drawing off of beloved looks for a renewed rendition.

It’s easy to draw a throughline to the Air Max 90 “Halloween,” itself a reprisal of a 2020 pair, but this more broadly speaks to the reliable formula that Beaverton creatives utilize on the silhouette. A mesh and suede foundation is flanked and contrasted by hi-vis accent shades. Diverging from those aforementioned colorways, the shoe instead tilts its eyestay panels and the pronounced mudguard to pure black, making for a more boisterous overall look that still resembles the ever-styleable Air Max 90s that’ve lined the shelves for decades.

The Nike Air Max 90 “Safety Orange” will hit shelves for Spring 2025, likely carrying the typical AM90 retail price of $130.
