Bonding the Air Force 1 Low, Dunk Low, and possibly other Nike Sportswear classics on this upcoming capsule is some retro-style lettering that reflects the 70s era of type. Seen on the heel-tabs of both of these hoops classics, this new logo treatment opens doors to new colorways that exude a throwback tone.
The Air Force 1 Low arrives in a stately all-leather build with a color combination that quickly remind us of the iconic Snow Beach palette. Navy, red, and yellow combine for that outdoorsy look, although the goal here is clearly to represent an era well before that time.
The Dunk Low shares a similar palette, but as a secondary support system to the cream white leather upper. Gradient color treatment on the Swoosh add a bit of a faded, aged look to tie into the vintage theme.
Both this Air Force 1 Low and Dunk Low “Retro Lettering” should arrive late in 2024 or possibly in the Spring of 2025; don’t be surprised of other models of that era, such as the Blazer, appear with the same execution.
In other Nike Sportswear updates, the most important Dunk of the year — the Nike Dunk Wu Tang — is arriving soon.
