Andrew Rizzo Jerry Lorenzo’s next adidas x Fear Of God Athletics collection is en route for December 2024, and if promises are true, the new sneaker on tap will feature the performance benefits that were lacking in their inaugural effort. The II Basketball, which was previewed in early October, might very well find its way onto NBA hardwood, but in the meantime, it looks to get plenty of run on the next-gen circuit. Overtime Elite, an adidas-sponsored league comprised of top 16-19-year-old players from around the world, recently added Fear Of God Athletics as its eighth and newest team.
Naturally, the team will be outfitted in uniforms designed by the man himself. The uniforms will be worn during the team’s game against the City Reapers on November 8th at OTE Arena, although it remains to be seen whether we’ll get an on-court look at the II Basketball.
In reflecting on the Fear Of God Athletics team, Lorenzo states: “Fear of God has always drawn inspiration from, and been guided by the spirit of sport, both off and on the court. We are excited to be in a position to tangibly reach the next generation through this partnership with OTE. Our goal has always been to inspire the next generation.
