Nike Brings Out A “Phantom” Colorway On This Kids’ Air Force 1 Low

For adults, there are few silhouettes on the market as omnipresent as the Air Force 1, but don’t sleep on the ability of Bruce Kilgore’s design to tap into the younger demo. While colorful sneakers are certainly the primary way Nike markets to that vertical, they’ve got as much need for everyday pairs as the grown-ups, precisely the idea with the Air Force 1 Low “Phantom.”

To address the elephant in the room, yes, an “all-black Force” is the base of this release, but some lighter accents save these from the nefarious fate of that oft-memed colorway. The off-white detailing on the Swoosh, tongue tag, and midsole “Air” text makes for a rather striking profile overall, further enhanced by a pop of fire red on the tongue and insoles. A sprightly mini-Swoosh directly under the tongue closes out the arrangement, making for a pair that’ll turn heads in the hallways without sacrificing everyday wearability.

The Air Force 1 “Phantom” will drop as a part of Nike’s Spring 2025 offerings in GS sizing. Though retail pricing isn’t set in stone just yet, be ready for something in the $90 range.
