The Green Goblin Manifests On The adidas Crazy IIINFINITY

A villainous look for the retro-inspired hoops shoe.

The Green Goblin Manifests On The adidas Crazy IIINFINITY

The adidas Crazy IIInfinity has surfaced in a new colorway reminiscent of a Marvel supervillain; one of Spider-Man’s nemeses, the Green Goblin.

There’s precedent behind the “Green Goblin” nickname, although it pertains to Nike and not adidas. The moniker derives from Spider-Man (2002), a movie in which Willem Dafoe famously incorporated Nike Flightposites into his Green Goblin costume.

The Crazy IIINFINITY takes after that shoe here with a black interior and metallic green sidewalls, lending an aesthetic comparable to the Green Goblin’s appearance. While the Crazy IIINFINITY is a new model introduced in 2023, it’s inspired heavily by early 2000s Kobe Bryant shoes like the infamous adidas Crazy 1. Thus, the parallels between the “Green Goblin” colorway and Crazy IIInfinity model itself are strong.

The adidas Crazy IIInfinity “Green Goblin” doesn’t have a release date at this juncture, but looks to arrive in late 2024/early 2025. Expect an MSRP of $160 upon arrival.
