Andrew Rizzo The USC Trojans and UCLA Bruins will author the next chapter of their storied rivalry on the gridiron on November 23rd, once again dividing Southern Californians to determine who gets bragging rights until next year. As far as footwear goes, however, there’s already a clear victor in our eyes. The USC Football Instagram account just unveiled a player edition Nike Kobe 6 cleat decked out in Trojans colors poised to debut on gameday.
A Kobe-inspired take on the Nike Vapor Edge cleat, the design features a black snakeskin base and red and gold Swoosh logos. Another splash of gold appears on the forefoot portion of the outsole, while the tongue logo also comes in gold to match. USC has been a Nike-sponsored school for three decades now, so they’re obviously no stranger to the occasional player edition delivery. What’s important to note here is that Kobe Bryant’s daughter Natalia is currently in her senior year at USC, having started attended classes in 2021.
