Original article published December 6th, 2024:

It may feel like years ago already, but early rumors about a revival of the Nike x Stash Air Max 95 circa Air Max Day earlier in 2024 were some of the first trickles of the “vault” being open in Beaverton. Short of a few “first look” in-hand leaks, things have been quiet on that front, but the man himself has just broken that silence.

While further details will surely follow soon, the Stash Nike Air Max 95 is now tabbed for a December 13th release, with a teaser image showcasing the outsole of the retro release underneath a sea of spray caps. In case you haven’t been tapped in to some of the unofficial updates, we’ve already got a sense of what to expect with the pair at hand. Breaking with some of the other “grail” that have dotted the 2024 calendar, early pairs that have circulated on the ‘net showcase a pretty significant divergence from the original 2006 release.

Rather than the typical suede build, the 2024 version shifts to hardier materials, featuring taped foxing and a mixed media build across the iconic AM95 waves. Nonetheless, the palette remains the same, notably maintaining the speckled “spray” finish on the midsole, so the release should still satisfy those who have coveted the Stash collab for years.

As mentioned, the Nike x Stash Air Max 95 is expected to be released on December 13th. It’s currently unknown whether the Stash Air Force 1 will accompany it, if this marks the wide release, or if it’s simply an initial launch.
