The Air Jordan 1 Low continues its ongoing subtle transformations as the Jumpman implements some minor changes to give the low-top ’85 model some new appeal heading into 2025. This upcoming release has a bit of that skate flavor with a new dark gum outsole, but there are some added details worth noting.

The upper construction is where this AJ1 shines; it’s got a mix of a smooth leather fixed in black, while a durable ballistic nylon appears on the mid-panel and the tongue for added toughness. Finally, the Swoosh logo, which appears to have its own textile pattern, illuminates brightly when hit with flash. It’s this unexpected reflective hit that gives the retro classic some new dimension.
