Aimé Leon Dore Is Bringing Back Their Mismatched New Balance 997

Aimé Leon Dore’s first and arguably best New Balance collaboration is coming back. Well, sort of.

In 2019, ALD released two pastel New Balance 997s with the idea of consumers purchasing both pairs and mismatching the left and right shoes. Now five years later, they’re doing the mismatching themselves. The left shoe features a yellow tongue with pink and dark blue around the collar, while the right features pink with teal. The forefoot and quarter sections stay the same, with each shoe making use of premium “Made In USA” suede.

The mismatched Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 997 is available now on the ALD website. Pairs retail for $220 and run exclusively in men’s sizing.
