Here we have first look images of the shoe courtesy of @arab_lincoln. CNCPTS calls in a gradient mesh base that transitions from light to dark green as you move from heel to toe, complemented by an orange tongue and New Balance logo for contrast. The overlays around the toe and quarter section appear in light grey, while the extended heel panel brings the green and orange shades to a helm. These also come with cork insoles for a slight premium touch, further driving the retro running model into the lifestyle genre.
The New Balance 740 is the Boston brand’s latest 2010s runner to get tapped for a modern day revival, categorized alongside the New Balance 1906R, 2002R, and 530 to name a few. Much like all those success stories, New Balance clearly has high hopes for the 740’s second stint on shelves. On top of heavy marketing for inline colorways, the model was also the subject of the latest Aminé New Balance collaboration and now looks to get even more shine thanks to another familiar face.
Release information for the CNCPTS x New Balance 740 is scant at the time of this writing, but know that this article as well as our Sneaker Release Dates hub will update with more details as they come in. Enjoy images of the shoe below in the meantime.
