Christmas-inspired Kobe Bryant shoes like the Kobe 6 Grinch cleat and Kobe 9 Elite Protro are certainly the most buzz-worthy members of Nike’s annual holiday-themed selection, but don’t sleep on the current era of signature hoopers. Ja Morant’s Nike Ja 2 “Christmas” is fixing to meet Santa with intricate detailing, now set to arrive December 19th in men’s, grade school, and preschool sizing.
Rather than lean on tried-and-true red and forest green, the latest Ja Morant Christmas shoe opts for soothing light sage with tasteful pops of gold. Retailer images previously portrayed the main color as silver, but the official Nike image set now provides a more accurate depiction.
Starting up top, the tongue sees Ja’s signature athlete logo reimagined as a Christmas tree. The sidewalls, meanwhile, build on the theme with a series of tree outlines that ripple outward. The Swoosh matches the tongue logo in metallic gold, while subtle gold flakes appear on a semi-clear blue outsole.
The Nike Ja 2 “Christmas” releases via nike.com and retailers on December 19th, hopefully leaving enough time for shipping before the big man comes around. Return to our “Where To Buy” section below for convenient purchase links on that date.
