Teeing off their commemorative slate with our early look at the CLOT Superstar “Chinese New Year,” the Three Stripes’ dedications continue with a trio of classic models for the “Year of the Snake” collection.
adidas reserves the snakeskin treatment for the Three Stripes branding on the sidewalls of each shoe. Even if the material changes are slight on these shoes, the commemorative appeal they each carry is undeniable all the same; Hanzi lettering at the heel, a uniting cream, red, white and gold colorway and and special edition tongues ensure that on each shoe.
The Samba may be the most unconventional of the pack, interrupting its branding at the quarter with an off-color patch of leather underneath. In case the atmosphere wasn’t fully driven home, each of the shoes arrives with shared burgundy and gold shoe boxes.
