The Return Of The adidas EQT Cushion ’93 Is Finally Here

The oft-overlooked model is back in action.

The Return Of The adidas EQT Cushion ’93 Is Finally Here

adidas just quietly brought back one of its best-ever retro running silhouettes in history. A member of the prized Equipment line that launched in 1991, the Cushion ’93 has stormed back to retailers wearing a colorway that nods to the original palette.

The adidas EQT Cushion 93 was the toast of town for a good chunk of 2016. The centerpiece of many a collaboration via the adidas Consortium Tour that paired up boutiques from different continents, this running silhouette was privy to some impressive colorway options as proven by some of the best sneaker-minded folks in the retail game. It, however, took a backseat to the EQT Guidance ’93, undoubtedly the more popular of the two models. In fact, it wasn’t included in the 30th Anniversary celebration of EQT back in 2021.

With much of adidas Originals’ focus remaining embedded in their catalog of low-profile, slimmed down models, the ’93 model’s return to retail has been somewhat unceremonious. The shoes are currently available now in the Asia-Pacific region, while a US release date remains TBD at the moment.
