Kanye West Made Over $3 Million In YZY Sales Since Monday

Kanye West’s YZY brand just dropped its next footwear item, the YZY SL-01, for just $20. This is the second footwear item offered by Ye at the low price-point; the first pair was the Yeezy Pods, a long sock with rubber traction pods fixed to the bottoms.

This new YZY shoe release comes mere days after adidas wiped its websites clean of any mentions of YEEZY or Kanye, resulting in adidas.com being the top search result for any pertinent search queries. Kanye took to Instagram to call out his former collaborative partner for intentionally blocking the YZY brand being the top result on the search engine.

While not much is known about the YZY SL-01 Slipper, it has a low-cut silhouette with a full-length rippled traction. Sizes are available from 2 through 16 in increments of 2. You can purchase the YZY SLPR here.

After Ye parted ways with adidas in late 2022, the artist formerly known as Kanye West has pushed forward with independent projects in both music and fashion. Ye’s new YZY imprint is infamous for its low pricepoint, with many of the sweatpants, tops, and other items priced at just $20 apiece.

Since the release on the evening of January 13th, Ye claims to have made $2,339,096 in sales on yzy.com from 12AM through 11:59 PM on January 13th alone, followed by another $700,000+ figure from 12 AM through 6 AM on January 14th. It’s not clear exactly how many pairs of Yeezy Slippers account for that massive figure.
