New Balance Enters A “Dream State” On The 2002R

The New Balance 2002R has been flexing its seasonal range as of late, with several recently-released options featuring Cordura and GORE-TEX materials holding folks over throughout fall and the start of winter. This “Dream State” colorway, however, suggests the Boston brand is already looking forward to spring.

Calming shades of blue and purple make for a perfect warm-weather arrangement up top, complemented by an off-white midsole for a slight pre-aged vibe. The “Dream State” moniker is associated with the periwinkle-colored suede that wraps the quarter and toe, fittingly named after the cozy state of bliss experienced when your head hits the pillow at night. The underlays are comprised of “Ice Wine” leather and suede, while a “Sea Stone” mesh base rounds out the top half.

Retailers plans to release the “Dream State” 2002R on February 1st, meaning a newbalance.com release is expected to occur shortly before or after. See detailed images below if your considering picking up a pair.
