The Nike Air Max Plus Sports “Lakers” Colors

Women's sizes release Spring 2025.

The Nike Air Max Plus Sports “Lakers” Colors

Tuned Air aficionados know that the best Air Max Plus colorways are ones that stick to the basics. Gradient treatments and tasteful pops of color are what make the Sean McDowell-designed shoe a classic to begin with, and thankfully, Nike hasn’t been short on new releases that stick to that blueprint.

We’re getting a “Lakers” feel from this latest colorway for Spring 2025, taken with a purple base that fades to black as you approach the mudguard. The same gradient appears on the center portion of the midsole, while gold accents are swatched onto the mini Swoosh, tongue logo, and Tuner Air chambers. The wavy TPU overlays are presented in black, matching the toe cap, and the mudguard and heel panels are comprised of smooth black leather as opposed to the usual tactile synthetic material.

The “Lakers” Air Max Plus runs in women’s sizing, but you’ll be able to cop a pair in your size if you wear a men’s 10.5 or smaller (in US sizing). Enjoy official images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview other upcoming Nike shoes.

Staying under the Air Max umbrella, check out the “Batman” Air Max 90.
