RTFKT Announces Sprawling 3D-Printed Finale With Zellerfeld

In news that rocked the digital-meets-physical world, Nike and RTFKT announced that the blockchain fashion imprint would be winding down operations, four years after the Swoosh acquired the label. While many assumed the announcement of an imminent shutdown meant we’d seen the last of RTFKT shoes, we’ve got late-breaking news that confirms one last collection coming, and another recent Nike partner is joining hands for the occasion.

Zellerfeld, leading 3D footwear producer and brand behind the Air Max 1000, is here enlisted to produce six new silhouettes, each displaying the bombastic, futuristic design language that has defined RTFKT output the whole way through. Two should ring familiar for long-time fans, with an all-black do-up of the infamous RTFKT Dunk and a similarly shaped CodeX Dunk, standing foremost in this group.

Additionally, four brand new silhouettes make their debut here: the CYBR STOMPER, Bladed Dragon, Undead Evo, and Reptile Evo. While the first presents with almost Chukka boot inspiration, the latter three flip things in a jagged, animalistic direction, the two “Evo” models wearing teeth and fangs wrapping around the forefoot.

Exclusive access to five of the six sneakers (save for the RTFKT Dunk) will be distributed to those signed up via mnlth.rtfkt.com, with each MNLTH X token redeemed opening up purchase access for all six styles. Luckily, the Dunk isn’t as gated. For the uninitiated, each of Zelerfield’s designs, in-house or collaborative, remain on their website for order long after their initial announcements. The RTFKT Dunk will enter the Zellerfeld archive upon release, available to buy for the general public. Catch official images of all the silhouettes included below.
