Andrew Rizzo We’ve yet to hear about a successor to Nike Vapormax Flyknit 2023, but as long as the current model continues surfacing in strong colorways like this “Midnight Navy” look, fans of the series are likely willing out to hold out for a little longer.
To the uninitiated; Nike has released a new Vapormax Flyknit model every two years since 2017. Another follow-up effort should emerge any day now, assuming Nike sticks with its established schedule, but as mentioned, it’s been all quiet on that front thus far.
This “Misnight Navy” colorway for Spring 2025 accomplishes a lot by keeping it simple. The titular colors coats the entire shoe, save only for a white Flyknit Swoosh and “Blue Void” mini Swoosh underfoot. The end result is a simple, versatile look that’s a bit more palatable than your average release. That’s not to say elaborate designs can’t be compelling, but if you’re one to prioritize wearability above all else.
