Giannis Antetokounmpo’s playful side has never been a secret, dating back to his enthusiasms for smoothies upon entering the league and ingratiating into life in the US. A decade, multiple All-Star teams and a championship later, he let that into his business endeavors as well, investing in British Columbia-based sweets retailer Candy Funhouse. And it’s not just candy they’re dealing in anymore, as the partners are joining up for a Giannis Freak 6 release taking after the shop’s logo and color scheme.

The curvilinear house logo that crops up on the tongue is the one to watch, stamping the company’s influence with a fitting jelly finish. Then to the sugared tones of yellow, red and blue that drape the shoe, which can be spotted at various official channels for the online-exclusive retailer. While not explicitly stated, we’re betting that the speckled outsole print, wearing a palette just adjacent to the light-blue and neon pink on the upper, is in fact a reference to Red Vines, cited by Antetokounmpo himself as one of his favorite pick-ups from the Funhouse.

The Candy Funhouse x Nike Giannis Freak 6 is expected to land soon, commanding the usual $140 retail price. The identically shaded Giannis Immortality 4 we covered a few months back will likely appear alongside.
