Does James Harden have the best looking signature shoe on the market right now? While we’ve only seen two releases hit market thus far, the recently released adidas Harden Vol 9 continues to build steam off the strength of its attractive design. adidas itself provided an advanced look at six confirmed colorways through April, but it appears that a slightly alternate version of the model is confirmed to release later this year.

Expected to drop this Fall, this never-before-seen iteration of the Harden Vol 9 features what appears to be a leather-coated upper in place of the synthetic upper. Additional, the oblong cut-outs have also been filled, with essentially removes the abstract three-stripes logo. The remainder of the Harden Vol 9 appears consistent with the existing version.

With this variation featuring a molded appearance, comparisons can be made to the Nike Air Signature Player, an early-2000s basketball shoe with Foamposite tech.

Again, this Harden Vol 9 is expected to launch on August 26th, 2025; see the first look images ahead for a closer look.
