Sneaker News Bad Bunny’s getting all the right attention in January; weeks after the premiere of his ‘Debí Tirar Más Fotos’ album, his next shoe collaboration, the Bad Bunny adidas Ballerina, is revealed in detail in two upcoming colorways.
Technically, the photos you see here are not a first look at the footwear; we reported the Puerto Rican superstar wearing the shoes in June 2024 at Paris Fashion Week as he left a restaurant with then-beau Kendall Jenner.
According to information shared with us by adidas representatives last June, the new silhouette is based off the adidas Taekwondo–an archive model that is currently in circulation in various inline colorways (shop them here). Bad Bunny and adidas have modified the shoe a bit, adding suede overlays at the toe and heel while adding bungee-cord shoe-laces. The nickname “benito” appears adjacent to the stripes in classic fashion, while the size-tag appears on the exterior in a similar inside-out fashion as his recent Gazelle Indoors.
Currently, the Bad Bunny Ballerina is marked for a drop on April 1st, 2025 on release calendars; however, that date could potentially be a placeholder in lieu of a specific date that month. Some closer angles of both upcoming colorways are pictured below; the shoes were listed on retailer 7017Reign, but has since been removed.
