Original article published February 3rd, 2025:

A year ago, Brain Dead officially kicked off their partnership with adidas Originals with an out-of-left-field collaboration on the adidas Bowling. That white pair was merely a Friends & Family issue created to celebrate the LA-founded label’s 10th Anniversary, but now they’ve partnered with high-end multi-brand retailer Dover Street Market to bring their out-of-the-box thinking to consumers.

Indeed, Brain Dead’s adidas Bowling design returns bearing an all black leather upper, white contrast stitching, and a white heel-tab bearing the streetwear brand’s silhouette logo. The adidas branding on the upper is pressed into the leather in gold foil, with DSM’s namesake appearing just beneath.

This leads us to wonder if Brain Dead has plans of bringing that classic bowling shoe colorway of navy, red, and white to this collaboration, although that remains to be seen.

Likely an exclusive to Dover Street Market in-store and online, this three-way collaboration is slated to launch this Spring 2025 season. Stay tuned for firm release date details and pricing.
