The Nike Air Force 1 Keeps Pushing A New Ribbon Build In “Sail”

Some refreshed energy comes to the Air Force 1.

The Nike Air Force 1 Keeps Pushing A New Ribbon Build In “Sail”

While not an initiative limited to just this year, Nike has been pushing several reimaginings on their most venerated, reliable models. This began with a new mesh and canvas Dunk Low, and as images of fresh product for the new season hit the newswire, the Air Force 1 build featured here is increasingly becoming a frequent sight.

Following two identical compositions, the cell-shaded style now appears in more relaxed hues. To briefly explicate the changes here, 3M underlays run below the Swoosh before bisecting the heel, adding reflective flair to Bruce Kilgore’s timeless design. Painting the shoe in “Sail” off-white is only a natural choice, tapping into the continuing trendiness of neutral tones, contrasted well by the darker “Cool Grey” linework that sets this shoe apart from mainline AF1s.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Sail/Cool Grey” is expected to hit shelves for $115, as a part of the Swoosh’s Spring 2025 slate. Catch official images below to get a better sense of what to expect.
