“Lucid Lemon” Electrifies Donovan Mitchell’s adidas D.O.N. Issue #6

A splashy colorway for the All-Star.

“Lucid Lemon” Electrifies Donovan Mitchell’s adidas D.O.N. Issue #6

The Cleveland Cavaliers may no longer be on a record-setting winning pace, but they’re still riding high all the same — three All-Stars and the #1 seed in the East are all the proof you need. Off the court, Donovan Mitchell is continuing his run as an integral piece of adidas Hoops, with his D.O.N. Issue #6 set to kick off its first colorway of 2025.

It’s a pretty standard color-blocking scheme on tap for this version, painting the exterior mesh anchoring and outsole in hi-vis “Lucid Lemon” green. While an expression of the attention-grabbing palettes that typically line the world of basketball shoes, it’s also a dip into one of Mitchell’s preferred shades. Look to the Haribo collaboration on this model, or dig further for the exact same shade on the one before. In addition to the visual aspect, the shoe delivers a host of adidas’ latest and greatest innovations, highlighted by the lightweight mesh construction up top and LightStrike cushioning underfoot.

Though adidas hasn’t confirmed, the D.O.N. Issue #6 “Lucid Lemon” is already listed at retailers for a February 15th release date. Anticipate the usual $120 retail price upon arrival.
