Nike Adds Reflective Uppers To The Air Max Sunder

Nike is expanding the breadth of the Air Max Sunder by thinking outside-the-box when it comes to materials, particularly on the top portion that makes up the shroud. We’ve already previewed brown leather and red denim takes on the 1999-born cult classic, and now we’re hit with another mold-breaking look featuring a full reflective upper.

The “Reflective” Air Max Sunder appears in black and grey in neutral lighting, but shine a flashlight and you’ll find that they grey portion is made of synthetic reflective material. The TPR pods over the mudguard are also reflective, but that’s the case with every Air Max Sunder. As far as the rest of the design goes, Nike opts for simplicity by way of a black and white sole unit.

The Nike Air Max Sunder “Reflective” releases February 26th in extended women’s sizing, carrying a lofty retail price of $200 ($20 more than usual). See official images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview more upcoming Nike shoes.
