To put it bluntly, the purple accents and neutral base make this specific colorway run very close to two recently unveiled pairs, the New Balance 1906A “Inkwell” and New Balance 1906A “Olive Juice.” What most clearly sets this shoe apart is the visible GEL that rests just underfoot, clad in the reddish brown that paces the overlays. As promised, some jagged lavender tonality adds a layer of depth and contrast towards the forefoot. Even with that eye-catching accent, the destructed aesthetics of the New Balance 1906A remain the star of the shoe in this “Eggplant” outfit.
