Ader Error And Converse Reintroduce The Wave Trainer And More

South Korea’s Ader Error is responsible for bringing a lot of worldwide eyeballs to the peninsula over the last decade. In late 2022, they burst into the sneaker scene with their first-ever collaboration with Converse, dropping a deconstructed-to-reconstructed aesthetic on the Chuck 70 in the early part of the following year. Now, the partnership refreshes with another Chuck 70 take as the we near the warmer months.

Compared to their original design, the Ader Error Converse Chuck 70 Ox approaches a much simpler design, opting for a super-clean arctic white canvas upper. The midsole brings in the brutal, pre-scuffed, black-stained appeal that is synonymous with the natural wear and tear of the All-Stars. Ader Error stamps itself with its four-block logo on the lateral heel, with wayward stitch patterns providing an abstract brand identification. Finally, they bring the Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star medallion to the Ox, striking it downwards and tucking it into the midsole. They’ve also modified the classic logo with their own branding.

For the other half of this release, Converse has tapped the South Korean collective with the first-ever collaboration on the Wave Trainer. With their trademark royal blue and the pre-scuffed soles, Ader Error distinguishes the archival model with a removable ankle shroud that mimics the folded-town ankle of the high-top Chuck Taylor

The Ader Error x Converse Wave Trainer is available now on Converse.com for $140.
