Hirofumi Kojima has been busy on social media lately, teasing upcoming atmos collaborations with On Running, New Balance, and more in celebration of his brand’s 25th anniversary. Kojima’s most recent post tips off a three-way collaboration between atmos, BAPE, and adidas on the Superstar silhouette; a reprisal of the atmos “G-SNK” series with the Three Stripes.
While we’ve yet to see official images, the gallery below lets us know what to expect. Two different styles can be spotted, one of which features grayscale BAPE camo print across the base layer. Gold BAPE gorilla logos appear around the heel sections, and both styles come with added BAPE lace dubraes. Most notably, however, a lights-off image reveals glow-in-the-dark snake print on the Three Stripes and BAPE star logo overlays. That quality, which atmos colloquially calls “G-SNK,” has been a recurring hallmark of the brand’s adidas Superstar collabs for decades. BAPE has also touched up its fair share of Superstars in the past, the most notable being a green “ABC Camo” edition in 2021.
Kojima reports that the sneaker will release exclusively at atmoscon in Japan, which runs from April 19th-April 20th. Stick with us while we look out for more detailed images over the coming weeks.
