The story of the Nike Book 1 in 2025 has been bringing PEs to retail, at last giving into social media clamors for Devin-worn standouts to become widely available. Though still an upcoming release, the “Moss Point” colorway was one of the first reported from this strategy, and the end results are now coming into clear view. However, the Book 1 “Moss Point” that will hit the public is slightly changed from the one we first caught in-game — here’s how.

Based on the Suns superstar’s contributions to a 2019 collection centered on the Swoosh’s then-stable of rising talent, the Book 1 “Moss Point” largely remains true to the mint green arrangement spotted on said Air Force 1 and an early standout PE. The one toggle is the swap from a translucent outsole to a matte rubber one, potentially a crucial hardware switch for those who roll out the Book 1 as true hoops shoes. However, at least from an aesthetic standpoint, the off-white solid color at the very bottom of the shoe still closely aligns with the delicate overall colorway.

More minute details that helped the AF1 become a hot commodity also stick around, from the embroidered mini Swoosh on the toe guard to an adaptation of the “Yes Ma’am” / “No Sir” text. Finally, additionally crucial for long-time fans of the Book 1 enterprise, the “Moss Point” does indeed sport the “pages” pull-tab, absent from many previous GR looks. An extra detail that has been recently uncovered: the shoes feature a wear-away upper revealing blue and white panels. The same feature was included in the Air Force 1 “Moss Point” release from way back in 2019.

Finer release details for the Nike Book 1 “Moss Point” are currently unclear, but the shoe appears on track for the originally reported Summer 2025 window and $140 retail price. Given that pairs are beginning to crop up overseas, we likely won’t be waiting long for more concrete details.
