Sportswear and high-fashion have always had a symbiotic relationship, so it’s not uncommon to see one genre borrow aesthetics made popular by the other. This upcoming New Balance 1906R takes a page from brands like Golden Goose and Balenciaga with pre-dirtied touches, set to release in the very near future.

While not nearly as attention-grabbing as dirtied footwear by those two brands, the impending 1906R stands out with a pre-scuffed midsole featuring black marking atop a cream/grey background. The upper is left to its usual devices, checking in with an open mesh base and metallic leather overlays.
