Defined by off-white hues on the leather panels in the upper and the rubber midsole, light grey suede through the vamp and collar and jet black suede beneath, don’t take this look as New Balance reinventing the wheel. It’s a shoe where the Boston brand is leaning into the model’s strengths, dressing an uncomplicated color combo that matches well with its vintage basketball hardware. Take all of that along with its still-accessible price tag and it’s easy to see why NB is sticking by the silhouette that helped them catapult back to streetwear relevance.
