The Air Jordan 1 Low Brooklyn Gets In A Hairy Situation

A monocolor edition of the platformed sneakerboot.

The Air Jordan 1 Low Brooklyn Gets In A Hairy Situation

The blurring lines between sneakers and fashion typically conjure up silhouettes like the New Balance 1906L, but quietly, Nike’s tendency to platform or otherwise boot-ify their models can be classed under the same concept. Since the introduction of the low-cut of the Air Jordan 1 Brooklyn, the silhouette has bounced between different material make-ups including leather and snakeskin. However, with the Air Jordan 1 Low Brooklyn now surfacing in “Light Bone” and “Metallic Silver,” it appears the shoe may have found a home in pony hair.

The initial look for the shoe tipped off this luxurious treatment, sporting the lush material throughout the upper while holding onto a more typical rubber sole and leather trim. Of course, the shoe as a whole is anything but traditional in broad strokes, hitting on statement wear with the aggressive molded platform sole and its calling card accent, a swatch of reflective silver cutting off the toe. Keeping with most of its previous looks, the two titular shades combine for a tonal overall atmosphere, sneaking a laidback palette onto a model that’s anything but.

Expect the Air Jordan 1 Low Brooklyn in “Light Bone/Metallic Silver” to hit the shelves as a part of the Summer ’25 slate. Retail will likely remain at $155. We’ll update both this post and our Jordan Release Dates hub as soon as this colorway touches down.
