It feels like every time this year we work our way through a highly-anticipated Jumpman drop this year, another one further down the line appears to take its place, and that’s not even counting the recently-revealed cadre of 2026 Jordan Releases. Closer to the present, the Air Jordan 4 continues to be a massive factor for 2025 — a look queued up for the latter half of the year is now coming into clearer view via new shots of the Air Jordan 4 “Denim.”
Given how coveted the shoe has become, it’s only natural to recall the Levi’s pack when presented with this shoe, many already understanding subsequent jean Jordans as runoffs of that collab. Indeed, outside of the fabric lean of this colorway, flares of gum coloring underfoot make that connection all the more solid. It’s only the plastic eye-stays on this denim Jordan 4 avoid this Canadian makeover, enveloping the “wings,” heel tab, and netting window, achieving that iconic grid patterned look with perpendicular stitching. While we could spot some of these details in our first look, the additional angles added in this suite crucially reveals a mismatch concept playing out from the lateral to medial sides, placing a more significant emphasis on the light wash on the interior by bisecting the mudguard at the heel.
These shots also reveal the gilded lace dubrae, simply reading “Family.” While the overall look and that detail reveal this as a faux-sequel to the Air Jordan 1 “Denim,” sporting similar golden accessories with Jordan branding, it creates a tacit tie with a pair on the upcoming slate. The Air Jordan 4 “Aluminum” queued up around Mother’s Day represents another familial women’s exclusive, perhaps a theme we’ll see revisited as the year plays out.
The Air Jordan 4 “Denim” is expected to be released on September 30th, 2025, but don’t be shocked if that date shifts at some point.
