Atmos Pink Adds A Bow To Their adidas Taekwondo Mei Collaboration

A subtle yet impactful attachment elevates this special makeup.

Atmos Pink Adds A Bow To Their adidas Taekwondo Mei Collaboration

For the Three Stripes, the push behind the adidas Taekwondo series is palpable. That’s on two frons: the collaborative realm where brands like KITH have taken on the more conventional sneaker build, and in its Ballet offshoot present as a general release (that also influenced the latest adidas Bad Bunny venture.) In Asia, atmos’ own celebration is still going strong, a venerable “year of collaboration” ushered in to celebrate 20 years in business. Via the imprint’s atmos Pink women’s label, an adidas Taekwondo Mei link-up ties the two efforts together.

The phrasing there is, of course, intentional, visible in both our title and campaign shots shared by atmos. Though the profile of this shoe remains consistent with the classic black and white color scheme seen on many an adidas staple (Superstar, Samba, etc.), atmos’ touch is most felt in the ribbon attachment that lands with this pair. Threading through a slit in the tongue, the delicate touch goes a long way in linking the shoe to what atmos describes as its “ballet core” extracurriculars, even if the chopped-down build isn’t featured here.

The atmos Pink adidas Taekwondo Mei releases on April 10th. Sadly for our stateside readership, this pair is exclusive to the brand’s Japanese site and home country. Check out official on-white shots included below.
