First Look At The Air Jordan 11 “Gamma Blue”

Dropping in December.

First Look At The Air Jordan 11 “Gamma Blue”

There’s no greater tradition in sneakers than the annual Air Jordan 11 release during the Holiday season. Jordan Brand has expanded upon that ritual with women’s exclusive and kids exclusive colorways, but the king of Jordan 11s still remains in December. With all of the original colorways already going through the re-issue cycle, the Jumpman now has its sights set on one of the most beloved Retro colorways ever: the Air Jordan 11 “Gamma Blue”.

Originally releasing in December 2013, the Gamma Blue Jordan 11s have grown to become a sought-after piece of footwear history, largely for representing what many see as the last era of true Air Jordan fandom. It’s a true marker of the Jordan culture before the brand dove into partnerships and broader storytelling to appeal to the mega-mainstream.

Why the Air Jordan 11 “Gamma Blue” 2025 edition matter is this: it’s the first time this colorway will appear in the “remastered” shape of the XI. This first look below reveals the same all-black uper with patent leather mudguards and ballistic nylon uppers, complete with the smoked-out translucent outsole and Gamma Blue hit on the Jumpman logo. While the photos don’t quite show it, we expected the golden yellow to appear on the text on the signature tie-bar detail.
