Andrew Rizzo Taiwanese retailer INVINCIBLE has always been one to flex its style range through sneaker collaborations, amassing a strong portfolio that includes everything from futuristic 4D sneaker to distressed, pre-aged touch-ups like this upcoming adidas Handball duo.
Starting with the white colorway, eyes are first drawn to the quarter where the traditional stripe overlays are removed and replaced by perforations (similar to the Stan Smith). The outer panels are blown up in size and given distressed, cut-up edges, including a dark grey nubuck T-toe and hairy suede backtab. Crisp white leather makes up the rest of the top half, covering the sidewalls, tongue, heel, and interior lining. The INVINCIBLE logo can be spotted on the left backtab, and underfoot, the design is complete with a standard brown gum Handball sole. The black colorway delivers the same underlying aesthetic, differing mainly through white cracked leather on the stripes and backtab.
