Andrew Rizzo Following a project by Issey Miyake last year, the New Balance MT10O is adding another collaboration to its portfolio. SoCal wellness brand District Vision, often called upon to touch up performance/athletic New Balance models, has prepared two colorways launching April 30th.
Engineered for trail running, the New Balance MT10O features a low height, rugged tread, and mesh interior suitable for a sock-less wear. While Issey Miyake brought leather exteriors to its pairs, District Vision opts for suede across the shoe’s defining panel. A mesh tongue/toe box ensures comfort, while a series of stitched leather/nylon straps maintain structure.
District Visions’s two colorways continue its theme of monochromatic New Balance collabs; one comes in “Cloud Dancer/Silver Birch” while the other features “Desert Palm/Delicioso.” Exposed stitching over the New Balance logos emerges as the main defining quality, complemented by DV branding on the tongue and heel.
