COMME des GARÇONS Celebrates 5 Years Of Osaka Location On The Bape Sta

After largely sticking to their own worlds and collaborators for decades, A Bathing Ape and Comme Des Garçons finally came together in 2020, using the opening of the latter’s Osaka location as a springboard into the monumental Japanese streetwear link-up. Since then, the Honshu locale has remained the tie that binds for subsequent capsules. It’s only fitting that as CDG Osaka celebrates 5 years, Bape is again on the line, unveiling a new Bape Sta design alongside a sprawling clothing collection.

Though one of the tees sports five colors of APE heads, CDG’s monochromatic stylings win out on the bulk of the collection, including the Bape Sta that’s piqued our interest. A staid cream leather upper and midsole get their flash in the finer details, including silver eye-stays and APE head dubraes. Comme des Garçons spell-out text is planted on the quarter panel atop the usual shooting star logo to ensure that the shoe’s star power isn’t lost to onlookers.
The online raffle for the CDG Bape Sta is now over, but select quantities will release at COMME des GARÇONS Osaka in-store on April 29th, 2025. Retail for the shoes sits at ¥36,300, with the apparel and accessory options ranging from ¥3,850 to ¥37,400. Catch on-white shots of the collab pair below.
