Beyond the added check at the toe, Nike really flexed their selectiveness with this Air Max 90’s build. The bulk of the upper features a soft black nubuck, while a nylon twill appears on the toe-box, ankle collar, and the thick tongue. Hits of grey appear on the Swoosh logo, while the Fall-focused orange adds punch to the branding on the tongue label, heel badge, and visible Air unit.
Believe it or not, this exact spec of the Air Max 90 debuted back in 2021. Only two colorways were brought out to the public before being shelved; it has been unexpectedly revived for 2025 with the same nubuck/nylon upper and logo add-on, so stay tuned for further looks and official images ahead of the expected early Fall 2025 drop.
