The Nike ACG Phassad Checks Off Triple Black

Entirely unexpectedly, the Nike ACG Phassad is officially back. While previous ACG retros warranted official teases via channels like the SNKRS showcase, the Y2K utility model has instead made its presence felt through the more common and conventional official images route, letting loose its initial “Yellow Zest” edition just days before this writing. A second pair that flips that aesthetic on its head has now surfaced: the Nike ACG Phassad in black.

Whereas that aforementioned pair showcased the eclectic ACG aesthetic with vibrant and neutral tones colliding, here the ACG Phassad takes on more modern sensibilities with a tonal all-black treatment. Despite uniting all aspects of this shoe and flattening out the profile as a result, all the hallmarks that make these a curiosity and cult favorite remain intact: lugged outsole traction, a buckled outer shroud and hardened toe-cap are still in place, all the more useful in this stealthy arrangement.

The Nike ACG Phassad in all black should hit Nike.com and retailers as a part of the Summer/Fall slate, retailing at $120 once it does.
