Is a release on the horizon?

First Look At The Scarr’s Pizza x Nike Air Force 1 In Black

In July of 2024, we reported that the grail-tier Scarr’s Pizza Air Force 1 would see a public release in 2025. The late DJ Clark Kent, who was involved in the design of the original Scarr’s Pizza x Air Force 1, then reached out to Sneaker News informing us that there are no plans to bring back the 2019 friends and family pair. However, if you’re one to speculate, it looks like a black 2.0 version might be in store.

Spotted on the feet of pizza shop owner Scarr Pimental at the Complex Family Style Food Fest this past weekend, the sneaker features all the same hallmarks of the white F&F pair. Key qualities include double-stacked Swoosh logos, stitched Scarr’s Pizza branding over the heel, gum soles, and a backtab inspired by the NYC flag. Save for the white-to-black color swap, the only real change is the pizzeria’s new 35 Orchard St. address on the tongue (the shop changed locations in 2023).

As of right now, no concrete information about the black Scarr’s Pizza Air Force 1 has been shared. Perhaps it’s another F&F sneaker, or perhaps we’ll see a public release sometime later this year. In any case, know that this article as well as our Sneaker Release Dates page will be kept current with all available info.
