Andrew Rizzo Updated May 21st, 2025: The upcoming A$AP Rocky x PUMA collection includes a third model called the Mostro Gabbia Light. Named after the Italian word for “cage,” the sneaker comes with a removable TPU structure alongside a slew of other rugged enhancements. Mesh, leather, and TPU can be spotted up top, not to mention the same patented disc tech as the Mostro Disccord. A$AP Rocky is continuing to re-imagine the PUMA archive with another sneaker delivery in May. Following a Mostro Disccord bring-back and wild slip-on called the Mostro 3D, the Harlem-born artist is circling back with fresh takes on the Inhale and standard Mostro silhouette.
The PUMA Inhale was the model that kicked off the A$AP Rocky x PUMA era, emerging in a lineup of heavily distressed styles late last year. This upcoming colorway differs greatly from that prevailing aesthetic, taken with a reflective base and no pre-aging whatsoever. Interestingly, the reflective material appears to feature a slight red tint around the heel, tying in with the the red/blue color combo seen on the laces and outsole.
Moving onto the PUMA Mostro, A$AP’s pair gets a luxe upgrade with black croc skin sprawling across the base. The Formstrip drops its usual curved lines in favor of a meander pattern, while a carbon fiber midfoot plate sits next to the shoe’s spiky tread.
