All of a sudden, the New Balance lifestyle roster is incredible deep, managing continuing everyday hits like the New Balance 1906R alongside fresher faces like the New Balance 2010 or upcoming New Balance 2000. Though high-heat affairs may no longer be its forte, the New Balance 2002R is a familiar sight in that cadre, still capable of delivering standout looks every so often.

A limited special makeup is a perfect opportunity to do so, the case for the New Balance 2002R “Pastel Blue” at hand. Suddenly appearing for a Foot Locker exclusive release, the retailer’s colorway coats heavily in that atmospheric shade, spread liberally across a mesh base and the suede overlays that weave just a layer up. Leather anchoring in between delivers more staid off-white tones, bridging the gap between those cerulean colorings and the equally sprightly light pink embedded into the midsole.
