Jordan Brand introduced the “Method Of Make” family as an opportunity to expand the Air Jordan 1 beyond the norm and into the world of contemporary trends. We’ve seen the high-top and low-top get transformed via design language typically found in luxury handbags and purses while also getting covered in puffy satin finishes. What they’ve got for Fall 2025 is unlike anything we expected.
A first look at the Air Jordan 1 Low Method Of Make V3 appears to be a fusion of the classic ’85 model with the modern “tech runner” trend in casual footwear. The silhouette gets hit with a bevy ov overlays and mesh-like base layers, mimicking the construction typically seen in 2000s era running models. It’s got plenty of influence of Nike silhouettes like the Vomero 5 and V2K Run, creating a clash of two eras that individually dominated global footwear trends.
However, with the Air Jordan 1 a thing of the past (for now) and the tech runner wave itself slowly fading, this third take on Method Of Make will very likely see the same fate as its predecessors. Given how long of a process it is to get from pen to paper to product, being too trend-heavy has worked against the Method Of Make series as a whole.
Expect these on Nike.com for $135 later this Summer/Fall 2025 season; stick to our Jordan Release Dates for firmer updates.
