As the Indiana Pacers continue their run through the NBA playoffs, the reveal of the official Tyrese Haliburton shoes becomes more and more hotly anticipated. Even if it proves the first tangible step in converting the All-Star endorsee into the face of the brand, it’ll be hard to unseat LaMelo Ball once underway, holding onto one of the most popular signature series and a well-received lifestyle offshoot in the PUMA LaFrance.

Just passing by the one-year anniversary of the silhouette, the PUMA LaFrance has increasingly spread its wings in recent months, beginning to take slight steps out of the tonal, one-note aesthetics that defined its earliest days. This pair may be the strongest exemplar of that to date, both utilizing graphic iconography of Ball’s fashion label and the alternating motif that we see so frequently with the PUMA MB.04 proper. The airbrush text at the quarter, LF logo on the tongue, and pieces of the outsole traction toggle between blue and red atop this buttery colorway, adapting the point guard’s mismatch concept in a way that’s far better fit for everyday wear.

The PUMA LaFrance “Airbrush” is due out on June 6th via PUMA and partnering retailers like Champs. Adult sizing will command a $110 MSRP, while GS sizing clocks in at $95.
