The Nike Zoom G.T. Cut Retro Era Continues With Black/Chrome

There’s usually a bit of time in the oven that brands allow before bringing back any given silhouette, a period where the “absence makes the heart grow fonder” principle can take shape and prime audiences for a bring-back effort. However, the feverish response to the Nike Zoom GT Cut 1, an honestly unprecedented reception for an inline, non-singature basketball silhouette, has made it so that otherwise unconscionable strategies are very much on the table.

That brings us to the seemingly sustained retro for the GT Cut, started with the “Pink Flash” colorway that hit SNKRS and retailers in April. Maintaining the tooling and synthetic build of the coveted original, the shoe additionally reprises this simplistic colorway that was available during its initial run. Engineered mesh uppers meet drop-in React foam, an Air Zoom Strobel, and traditional Air Zoom in the heel. If hooper response isn’t enough to justify this sooner-than-usual retro effort in your mind, peruse any grey market site listings for some of the 2021 colorways, and you’ll see just how much demand this new supply will answer.

Though official images surfacing usually indicates a drop sooner than later, we can only confirm a 2025 launch for the Nike Zoom GT Cut “Black/Chrome.” Once touched down, however, a $180 retail price is expected.
